Workplaces can be busy and challenging environments. Today’s professional needs skills that provide groundedness and build resilience to stress. In this workshop, participants will move from surviving to thriving by learning: 

  • What is resilience? 
  • Key resilience components 
  • Practical grounding skills 
  • Mindfulness meditation practices and resources

 

Presenter Information:

Nicole Keating, MSW, MPH, LCSW has worked at Clayton State University for 9 years as a psychotherapist in the department of Counseling and Psychological Services. She holds a Masters in Social Work from the University of Central Florida and a Masters in Public Health from Augusta University. Her central career focus is helping students, clients, and communities foster practices that cultivate emotional and holistic health despite past and current environmental stressors.  


This workshop is presented by the GACE Professional Development committee as part of our annual professional development programming.
