2023 DEIB Symposium titled

"Operationalizing Equity & Social Justice in Today's Climate"

The symposium will feature Dr. Catherine Meeks, Founding Executive Director of the Absalom Jones Episcopal Center for Racial Healing & 2022 Presidential Award Lifetime Achievement Honoree, as keynote.

Other details of the day include:

Student panel moderated by GACE three time Past-President and Founder's Award recipient Karen "Coach Mac" McGrath

Three lightening rounds centered around hot DEIB topics:

Social Justice - Dr. Joy Harris (GA Tech)
Intersectionality - Dr. Nury Castro (Agnes Scott)
Gas Lighting - Dr. Andre Nicholson- Middle GA University.
