Sandy Mollett
(she/her/hers) is the Founder & CEO of Equal Footing LLC, a
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion consulting organization. Equal Footing
LLC is a certified LGBTQ business enterprise that advocates for safe,
diverse and inclusive communities and work environments where EVERYONE
can thrive, grow and be themselves. Sandy is a sought-after speaker,
panelist, corporate consultant and thought leader/partner.
After 32 years in the corporate world, she has embarked on her second-act career as a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion advocate, activist and consultant. This fire and passion was fueled by serving as President of the Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (AGLCC), an affiliate chapter of the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). “With a mission of driving economic success for the LGBT business community and allies; I had an opportunity to roll up my sleeves and work alongside community activists, advocates and civic leaders. All focused on equity, equality and prosperity of the LGBTQ+ community in Atlanta and surrounding areas.” In her corporate role, she supported and mentored LGBTQ+ employees, women leaders and young professionals, encouraging them to engage and grow, personally and professionally. She served as an advocate, a voice, and a champion for diversity, inclusion and workplace equality. She founded and co-chaired their corporate Diversity and Cultural Council (Employee Resource Group (ERG) Steering Committee). She also served as the Executive Sponsor of their LGBTQ+ ERG. Sandy serves on the Discover Dekalb Convention & Visitor's Bureau Board of Directors, Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (AGLCC) Board of Directors, and Georgia Equality Board of Directors. Her coming out (at work) story was published in the Atlanta Business Chronicle/Pride Edition 2016. She was honored by Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) with the 2018 Diversity Leadership Award of Excellence (Enterprise) and by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of the 2018 “Women Who Mean Business”. In 2017, she was awarded by the Georgia Diversity Council as one of 2017's "Most Powerful & Influential Women". |
