  • finding new ways to connect and engage a GEN Z population that wants faster, easier and more accessible.

James Barricelli

With more than 14 years of experience in career services, James is excited to join Georgia Tech as the Executive Director as well as the Interim Director of the Employer Connections team. He has successfully led teams at several institutions such as Wake Forest University, UNC Chapel Hill, George Washington University, and George Mason University.

James has served in leadership roles for several professional associations including ACPA and the Virginia Association of College and Employers. Most recently, he created a MBA benchmarking consortium with top employer relations professionals.

James earned his Bachelor of Arts in History at Utica College of Syracuse University and a Master of Arts in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.



Matias Domingo

Matias Domingo works at Kennesaw State University in the Career Planning and Development Office as their Employer Outreach Coordinator and works with industry partners in the STEM field. Matias earned his bachelor's in business and a master's in education. He is also pursuing a master's in business analytics at Georgia State and plans to graduate summer of 2021.

Matias is a first-generation college graduate and advocates for the Latinx community to invest in pursuing higher education by serving as a mentor to others and participating in events such as the Hispanic Organization Promoting Education (HOPE). Outside of work, Matias invests his time in hiking, socializing with friends and trying out new coffee shops!


Sandra Y.G. Jones, LMSW, GCDF

Sandra is Director of Student Diversity & Inclusion at Valdosta State University. Sandra earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology and Anthropology, and Philosophy and Religious Studies. She also earned her Master of Social Work from Valdosta State University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Educational Leadership. Sandra is also an Adjunct faculty member in the Master of Social Work Program.

In addition to her work at VSU, Ms. Jones practices as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) at Peaceway Counseling & Mediation Services a private agency in Valdosta, GA. She is also licensed in the state of New Jersey, where she was able to serve first responders via tele-mental health at the height of the Covid19 pandemic.

Sandra also serves as Curriculum Developer and Corporate Diversity and Inclusion Training Facilitator for South Florida People of Color (SFPoC), conducting diversity and inclusion workshops, retreats, webinar trainings and customized services to assist clients with inclusive excellence. Sandra travels nationally and is a sought after speaker on topics of diversity and inclusion, leadership, intentionally and faith. Sandra speaks nationally on higher education, professional development, and non profit platforms.


S
hannon Krantz

Shannon works with Synovus as the Talent Acquisition Partner focusing on Campus, Diversity and Military recruiting. Her primary fucntion is to recruit for Synovus’ flagship training program, the Accelerated Banker Associate program (AB program) as well as for the Corporate Summer Internship roles across the bank’s different lines of business. Shannon intertwines the company’s Diversity and Military recruiting initiatives in her campus recruiting and works with other external diverse and military groups.

Prior to coming to Synovus, Shannon recruited in the IT industry, most recently with Infosys Limited as the Diversity Lead for their US operations. In this role, she developed relationships with a variety of Diversity organizations with a focus on gender and veterans in the technology industry. She also coordinated many events with key stakeholders and these groups to increase the brand awareness of Infosys. She was introduced to IT recruiting with her role with Tata Consultancy Services, as the Southeast Campus Recruiter.

Shannon began her career in the financial services industry, first as a licensed financial representative and moved into recruiting, initially as the Recruiting Specialist, then as the Regional Recruiter for the SE and finally as the Campus Recruiter for the East Coast. This is where she honed her talent in building strong relationships with colleges and universities on the East Coast, with a focus in the southeast.

Campus is a place where Shannon thrives in recruiting and thoroughly enjoys finding creative ways to interact with candidates.


Annika Thompson

Annika joined the Enterprise Holdings family in 2015, as a Management Trainee and earned her first promotion within 6 months of her career. Annika worked as a Station Manager at the World’s Busiest Airport and was once again promoted to the Branch Manager position in the Kennesaw area. During her time as a Branch Manager, Annika become known for her ability to train and develop her team and in 2019 was promoted to a Training and Development Specialist. In this role she was instrumental to the development of Enterprise’s Intern and Management Trainees. Additionally, she partnered with senior leadership to ensure that our training content is effective and consistent across the city. In January of 2020, Annika joined the Talent Acquisition team to recruit and hire top talent across metro Atlanta and has been making an even larger impact on our operation thru talent acquisition! She has been involved in the Enterprise Holdings “Female Minority Leadership Program”, is an active member of the Employee Resource Group and serves as a mentor to many men and women throughout the organization. Annika was also selected to take part in a recruiting advertising campaign for employees who represent diversity and inclusion in the company. Annika holds an Undergraduate degree in Psychology from Florida Atlanta University and a Masters degree in Leadership from Kaplan University.


Ginny Rae Turner

Ginny is the Associate Director of Career Services at Georgia State University. Ginny’s path has taken her to several career centers at various colleges and universities in Georgia. She has worked in the career services field for 8 years. She received her Master of Arts in Community Counseling in June 2012 and went on to obtain the LPC and CPCS. Aside from her career path, she loves to travel and spend time with family.
