Rev. Dr. Adam Daniels is a pastor, a teacher, a chaplain, and a big believer in the power of slowing down in a culture that is in way too much of a hurry. His own journey with mindfulness and meditation began over ten years ago when he realized he was overbooked and burnt out. If you feel that way, even a little bit, this session is for you. Though only 45 minutes, you will be guided through how to do a mindfulness sitting meditation, a loving kindness meditation, and given materials to help start your own mindfulness and meditation practice.
Rev. Daniels is currently the Chaplain and Adjunct Instructor of Religion at Young Harris College and has received training in meditation and mindfulness-based stress reduction from the organization Mindful Leader in addition to graduate work in contemplation in the Christian tradition.
